If you see someone doing amazing things for God, and you would like to do the same, what do you do? Do you find out more about what they are doing, and try to do the same? Look at these words from the book of Hebrews:
Remember your leaders who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Hebrews 13:7
So if you see that the outcome of someone’s way of life is fruitful and has a real impact for God, don’t copy what they do, but copy their faith – copy what they believe. Why? Because what we do comes from what we believe. If we don’t get our beliefs right, our actions won’t be right.

What practical things could you do in the coming weeks to keep reminding yourself about what is actually true rather than what you tend to believe when left to your own devices?
