When did you become a Christian? Some of us remember the day well. Others of us might have grown up in a Christian family and know it happened sometime during our childhood but don’t know exactly when. Whichever is the case for you, when you became a Christian something very dramatic and irreversible happened to you: you went from being spiritually dead to being alive! That is a very black and white thing. There’s no sliding scale. Either you are alive or you are dead; you can't be something in between. Your place in God’s family is now permanently, eternally secure! Take a few minutes to think about that amazing truth, and thank God for it.
This week, we suggest that you read the “Who I Am In Christ” list out loud every day. Then pick one of the truths that is particularly meaningful to you and spend some time reading it in its context and asking God to help you understand it more fully.
